Hue launched our new series, “The Basics,” with the encouragement that God has a plan for our lives much bigger than we could come up with ourselves. The blueprint for the plan is Obedience, Courage, and Perseverance. God’s plan has also always been to use the local church so we must remain rooted rather than try to go it alone.

Jesus is the center and focus of our worship and we worship Him simply because of who He is. When we center our lives around Jesus, we receive Heaven’s perspective and can be encouraged, strengthened, and refreshed from being in the presence of God.
Jesus set us free from condemnation, guilt and shame, fear of punishment and sin, and we no longer have to conform to the pressures of our culture or worry about what others think. We are free! But, Paul exhorts us to use our freedom for good - to love and serve one another and those around us. Oh how we need to be with the Father, to be filled by His love, in order to love those around us!

It is where we grow and mature together.
